Mapping ProjectWise Attributes

In ProjectWise, general document properties are the default properties that every document in every datasource will have. An environment is a collection of custom document attributes that each organization creates for themselves per datasource, and each datasource might have multiple environments.

You can map general document properties and custom environment attributes from ProjectWise to the appropriate attributes in AssetWise, so that during a synchronization the attribute on the AssetWise document will be populated with the latest value from the property or attribute on the corresponding ProjectWise document.

General ProjectWise document properties are automatically registered in AssetWise and available to be mapped.

Custom environment attributes are not automatically registered, and so you need to manually register those before they can be available to be mapped.

To see the list of general document properties that can be mapped, select the ProjectWise root folder in the Explore tab, and then expand the ProjectWise Global Fields topic in the Content pane.

Note: If you are familiar with ProjectWise you may notice that this is not the full list of general document properties; there are some additional ProjectWise-specific document properties that do not apply, therefore are not included in this integration.
